Weather Station Application Solution

Wireless temperature/weather station with RCC function

  1. With FSK single chip design,more reliable,faster and longer wireless data reception distance of 200m made it possible. No need to tune. 315MHZ,433MHZ,868MHZ,915MHZ band selectable.
  2. Accurate weather forecast is possible by using temperature compensated, calibrated barometer module with 0.1mbar pressure reading resolution. The module can even be used to realize altitude function. Display with 0.1m resolution (accuracy ±1.0m). Past 24 hours' pressure history bar graph can be displayed on LCD. Calibration free for production.
  3. Accurate humidity measurement can be achieved with digitally calibrated capacitive type humidity sensor. 1-99% measurement range, 3% nominal accuracy. Temperature works in the range of ?C30 to 69.9°C with 1.0°C accuracy. No calibration needed on production line.
  4. Besides outdoor temperature and humidity data, rainfall and instant wind speed can be displayed on the receiver unit as well.
  5. Radio controlled clock for US and Europe can be selected with a bonding option. Maximum time inaccuracy will not exceed 1.0s/d.
  6. Individually settable alarm function can be set or disabled for low, high weather condition.

Barometer and altimeter watch function:

  1. 1.5 operation modes available: time, compass, weather, altimeter, chronograph and alarm.
  2. At time mode, current time and week date are always displayed on first and second LCD line. Date and see level pressure or current temperature can be toggled for displayed easily. Built in calendar ranges from 2006 to 2055.
  3. At compass mode, north and south direction display is analog simulated, together with digital reading in the center of LCD, with 1degree resolution. The display is refreshed once a second, and enter into idle mode automatically after 20s. CAL mode automatically entered after battery change.
  4. At weather mode, normal weather forecast function and sea level pressure can be displayed simultaneously. Current pressure can be displayed in mbar or inhg. 1mbar or 0.01inHg display resolution.
  5. At altimeter mode, current altitude, ACC altitude and max altitude can be displayed. 1feet or 1.0m display resolution.
  6. 2 years battery life is expected with CR2032 lithium battery in the pre-condition: half hours compass and one hour altitude operation.
  7. Quartz time accuracy: ±3s per month.
